So, if you're a fan of a good curry, you owe Birmingham a little nod, at least. It’s not all factories and curry, though. There's the stunning Symphony Hall, the arty Jewellery Quarter (go figure!), and Cadbury World. Who doesn't love chocolate? Exactly.
And then there's Bristol. Oh, Bristol. What a cool cat. It’s got that bohemian vibe, you know? Street art everywhere, from Banksy’s early scribbles to modern masterpieces. It’s a city that wears its history with a bit of swagger. Think pirates, think maritime adventures, think… that big suspension bridge. Yep, Clifton Suspension Bridge. It’s iconic!

Then there’s Bath. Now, Bath is a bit of a fancy pants, isn't it? All Georgian elegance and Roman history. It’s named after the Roman baths, of course. And they are seriously impressive. Imagine a spa, but like, two thousand years ago. Mind-blowing!
The architecture in Bath is just stunning. All honey-coloured stone. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you can see why. It’s so perfectly preserved. Plus, they invented Bath buns. So, bonus points for delicious baked goods.
What about Bournemouth? Another seaside gem, but with a slightly different vibe to Brighton. More… sandy. Yes, Bournemouth boasts some of the best sandy beaches in the country. Perfect for a good old-fashioned bucket and spade holiday, wouldn’t you say?
It’s got that lovely Victorian seaside feel. Think pleasure gardens, a pier with amusements, and plenty of ice cream. It's a place where you can just relax and soak up the sun. Or, you know, get a bit windswept. It’s the seaside, after all!

Have you ever been to Beverley? It’s in East Yorkshire, and it's an absolute stunner. It has this incredible Minster, which is basically a huge, gothic cathedral. It’s so grand, it makes you feel tiny. In a good way, of course!
Beverley also has a lovely market town feel. Cobbled streets, independent shops, and a sense of history all around. It’s the kind of place where you can just wander and discover something new around every corner. And the tea shops? Divine.
And let's not forget Bexhill-on-Sea. Another coastal town, but with a rather unique claim to fame: it's home to the very first publicly registered motor race track in Britain. How cool is that? So, if you’re a bit of a petrolhead, or just like a good bit of history, Bexhill might be your jam.
It’s got a lovely Art Deco influence too, particularly with the De La Warr Pavilion. It’s a striking building, all clean lines and modern design, and it’s right on the seafront. A real architectural treat.
What about Bolton? Now, Bolton is perhaps more known for its industrial heritage, but it’s also got some lovely green spaces. And it’s got that proper Northern grit and charm. You know the kind – friendly people, good sense of humour.

And the beach there? Absolutely stunning. Wide, sweeping sands, with the castle as the backdrop. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a postcard. Just be prepared for a bit of wind! It is the North East, after all.
How about Bletchley? You might know it for Bletchley Park, the top-secret home of Britain's World War II codebreakers. It’s a place where history was made, literally. The work done there is just incredible. It saved so many lives.
Visiting Bletchley Park is a really humbling experience. You get to see the huts where all that vital work happened. It’s fascinating and deeply moving. A real must-see if you’re interested in that period of history.
And then there’s Bude in Cornwall. Down in the glorious South West. Bude is all about rugged coastline, beautiful beaches, and that fresh sea air. It’s a bit of an adventurer’s paradise.
Think surfing, think coastal walks, think… Cornish pasties! Yep, can’t go to Cornwall without mentioning pasties, can we? Bude has that laid-back charm, but with plenty to keep you active if you’re feeling energetic. And the sunsets there? Absolutely breathtaking.

Consider Boston. In Lincolnshire. Now, Boston might not be the first place that springs to mind when you think of tourist hotspots, but it has a rather impressive medieval church, St Botolph's Church, often called the 'Boston Stump' because of its tall tower. It’s a real landmark.
It also has a fascinating history, with connections to the early settlers of America. So, there’s more to Boston than meets the eye, that’s for sure. It’s a town that’s quietly getting on with things, with a rich past and a solid present.
